Theme 1: Being mindful of wellness during virtual meetings and ergonomics while working from home.

Event description:

The coronavirus outbreak has brought a surge wave of communication, behaviours and unforeseen new ways of handling meetings and various online gatherings.

The IFS Office has gathered advocates of work wellness to share a few tips and tricks on how to be mindful of well-being during online meetings and good practices while working from home.

Are you an IFS Middle Manager? Well, this is for you, and it’s OK to invite your fellow community or neighbourhood centres colleagues. Just share the invitation and spread the word and this is your break for the day. Don’t miss it!

Speakers 

Our first speaker is Ms Anne Williams-Isom from Fordham University in the USA. She’s a nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience. Her researcher’s interests are in Child Welfare, Child and family mental health for BIPOC, Systemic approaches to racism and toxic stress and trauma.

The info about the second speaker from Fordham University will be added soon.

The third and last speaker is Ms Ella Niini, a Development Coordinator at the Finnish Federation Of settlements. Ella is a yoga instructor and a big advocate of work environment wellness and employees wellbeing.
