Connect with Our Team
We invite you to reach out to the International Federation of Settlements and Neighbourhood Centres with any questions or for support. Our dedicated team is here to assist you with inquiries regarding governance, policies, or membership. Together, let’s work towards building stronger communities around the globe.
The IFS staff team supports the daily work of the global network, including operations, membership, communications, regional engagement, fundraising and member support.
The team works alongside the IFS Board, regional networks, working groups and member organisations to strengthen relationships, coordinate activities and support international cooperation.
How the Team Is Organised
IFS is supported through a collaborative international staffing model.
The IFS Board provides governance, strategic oversight and member representation. The staff team supports the Federation’s day-to-day operations and helps implement the direction agreed by the Board and membership.
Responsibility for hosting the IFS office rotates between member organisations. A host organisation contributes staff, systems, infrastructure and organisational support for an agreed period, helping sustain the Federation’s international operations while keeping IFS connected to its membership.
Since 2025, the Local Community Services Association in Sydney, Australia, has served as the IFS host office. LCSA provides operational leadership, administration and infrastructure for the global network.
Additional staff and specialist support are contributed, contracted or funded through IFS member organisations and partner arrangements in different countries. This collaborative model draws on knowledge and expertise from across the network.
The IFS Board governs the Federation. The rotating host office and staff team support its daily operations and implementation.
