The Euromed Federation of Socio-cultural and Neighborhood Centers (EFS) was founded in October 2022 to foster stronger collaboration between IFS members across Europe and the Mediterranean region. As part of the global International Federation of Settlements (IFS) network, EFS focuses on advancing shared goals within the Euro-Med region, complementing IFS’s global strategy. Through this partnership, EFS supports the development of joint initiatives, strengthens cross-regional relationships, and opens new opportunities for members to engage in international collaboration.
EFS is open to all European and Mediterranean local organizations and national federations that are members of IFS, at no cost. By working together, we can strengthen our relationships and share best practices within our region, improving both our local and global efforts for social justice, inclusion, and social cohesion. Together, we will have a stronger voice to advocate for better social policies at the EU level.
