The IFS Annual Meeting 2024 was a resounding success, hosted by the member organization, the Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association (NCA) in Cleveland, USA. Special thanks to NCA’s Executive Director, Allison Wallace, who is also an IFS Board member, for her leadership in making this event a memorable one.
The meeting kicked off with a special moment as the IFS delegation had the honor of attending NCA’s 75th Anniversary celebration. Participants from Australia, Finland, and Sweden joined in this celebration, marking an important milestone for our partners and strengthening our global connections.
Over the course of four days, representatives from across four continents, Europe, America, Africa, and Australia/Asia came together for an intensive series of discussions. They focused on shaping the future of IFS, tackling big questions about our vision for the next 10 years, and finalizing the strategic plan that will guide the network for the next three years.
This gathering was not only a time of reflection but also one of planning and renewed commitment to our shared mission of community empowerment and collaboration across borders.
Participants left Cleveland inspired and excited to implement the outcomes of this meeting as we continue building a stronger, more connected IFS family.
