IFS Declaration on Social Justice, IFS Conference 2021’s Discussion Paper and more!

In September 2021, people from Settlement and Neighbourhood Houses, partners and IFS members from all over the world gathered online and in-person to participate in the international conference “Social Justice – The Unfinished Journey” organized by the International Federation of Settlements and Neighbourhood Centres (IFS) in Sydney, Australia.

At the end of the conference that took place from September 14 – 17, the IFS, a global network of thousands of organizations and hundreds of thousands of active citizens, volunteers, students, and professionals in neighbourhoods of more than 30 countries across all global regions, made the declaration on Social Justice. The IFS Declaration on Social Justice calls on the governments and institutions to support those who have dedicated their time advocating and being a voice for their communities.
