The International Federation of Settlements and Neighborhood Centers (IFS) is guided by a dedicated and diverse board of leaders committed to fostering global collaboration and driving meaningful change. Our board members bring a wealth of experience, passion, and expertise to support our mission of empowering communities worldwide.
Board members are elected to four-year terms on a split rotation at our biannual General members’ meetings, ensuring continuity and fresh perspectives. They meet four times a year and are supported by regional networks, working groups, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers worldwide.
In addition to the board, IFS is supported by an executive committee listed below, who work tirelessly to implement the organisation’s vision and ensure its operations run smoothly. Together, the board, executive team and our staff, paid and unpaid, embody the values of innovation, equity, and collective action that define IFS.
